Begib dich auf eine sinnliche Entdeckung mit dem Sol Jang Trio. Ein internationales Trio, bestehend aus Sol Jang (Klavier) mit Jort Terwijn (Kontrabass) und Max Hering (Schlagzeug). Dieses dynamische Ensemble vereint lyrischen Jazz, freie Improvisation und traditionelle Jazz-Harmonien und lädt die Zuhörer in Jangs eigene musikalische Welt ein. Geboren in Seoul und inspiriert von ihren globalen Erfahrungen, malen Jangs Kompositionen lebendige Klanglandschaften. Mit Anerkennung als dreimalige Jazzwettbewerbsfinalistin (Sibiu Jazz, Riga Jazzstage, 7jc) und globalen Auftritten, ist das Sol Jang Trio eine Reise durch Klang und Emotion.
Das Trio spielte bereits in den Niederlanden, Deutschland, den USA, Rumänien, Lettland, Marokko, Südkorea und Ungarn.
Review: Sol Jang plays with a very high degree of technique on the piano. Bass and drums are very tight, the song spaces produced allow for good interaction and afford the trio a clear musical maturity on this straight ahead jazz that shows much passion and a song structure whose chord schemes are woven with disciplined phrasing and at the same time joyful playing.
